DVRPC NEWS is published by the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, Office of Communications & Public Affairs. DVRPC News is funded through grants from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), the Pennsylvania & New Jersey Departments of Transportation, & DVRPC's member governments.

This report presents the methodology and documents the results of field surveys conducted by DVRPC to determine average vehicle occupancy rates for the nine counties comprising the Delaware Valley Region.
